Cleaning Checklist for Friday January 12

Hello!  Happy Thursday!  The weekend is in sight!  Do you enjoy the chaos of the weekend? Or do you prefer the predictability of the weekdays?   I’m a bit of both.

Tomorrow is laundry room/ laundry area day.   You’ll catch up on any that’s lagging behind–INCLUDING putting it all away.  And you’ll take care of those vents and machines.   This week we add in sorting and cleaning up the stockpile of cleaning products.  What are your favorite go-to products?  (I especially love hearing from those of you from places in the world outside of the US when I ask these types of questions.)

Find the list for tomorrow attached below.  Click to enlarge or click on the PDF to print!

Hi! I love the idea of sharing our favorite products. For glass mirrors and kitchen counters/appliances I use windex. For walls and floors garbage cans and toilets lemon pine sol. I like scrubbing bubbles spray for tub sink and tiles. For dusting and kitchen cabinets I like lemon pledge with a cotton rag. I use arm and hammer laundry detergent and snuggle liquid softener. Bleach on whites in hot water. I use Brillo on the pots and pans then use the pad to scrub the sink down afterwards. Finish gel packs for the dishwasher! Love reading this blog and all the wonderful topics you cover!

I like to use very ecofriendly products when I clean- so I choose brands that are certified to be better for the environment. For fresh smell, I try to keep fresh flowers in my house and especially in the bathroom- my husband buys them on friday comming home from work, to honor the beginning of the Sabbath each week. This upcomming garden season I will plant a lot of flowers, so I can have many beautiful ones to pick from throughout the summer and early fall this year. I’m really exited about that 🙂 I already set a bunch of perennials last year, and plan to have at least 4 different types of roses- all in pink shades..

I find that cleaning a little every day helps me keep on top of it. I actually vacum every day, and use premade wipes for my bathroom. It takes 2 minutes in morning, and I’m set (to always have a clean bathroom). My goal is to make it feel like a hotel – fresh and clean, with beautiful decorations like flowers and fruitbowls – and always a refreshing cold drink in the fridge.

I live in europe btw – love your blog
